October Community Events

October is another busy month with lots of opportunities to participate in community events.  Here are some family friendly activities to get your started.

Woods Cross:
     October 22nd (Saturday) Pumpkins in the Park at Hogan Park from 6:30 - 8:00.  Bring your pumpkin between 5:30 and 6:00 to put on display.  Prizes for best costumes and pumpkins.

Centerville:
     October 27th (Thursday) Halloween Pumpkin Walk.  Bring carved pumpkins to Founders Park from 5:00 to 6:00 pm then walk through and see all the pumpkins from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.  Stop by the Bowery for a delicious treat.  (Event sponsored by the Youth Council).

Farmington:
     October 28th (Friday)  Miss Farmington's 9th Annual Halloween Event at Farmington Community Arts Center from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.  Costumes are encouraged.

Kaysville:
     October 8th (Saturday)  Monster Mash and Dash at Heritage Park from 5:00 - 8:00 pm.  Kaysville's Family Fall Festival.  Pumpkin painting, spooky storytelling, carnival games, and a pie eating contest.

Layton:
     October 28th (Friday)  Halloween Bash at Central Davis Jr. High School Gym from 5:30 - 8:00 pm.  Sure to be haunting family fun for all.  Carnival style games, pumpkin walk, costume parade, music and refreshments.

West Point:
      October 14th (Friday)  Halloween Carnival at City Hall (3200 West 300 North) at 7:00 pm.

Clinton:
     October 24th (Monday) Halloween Pumpkin Walk

South Weber:
     October 29th (Saturday)  Fright Train at Canyon Meadows Park - South Weber Model R.R. (weather permitting) from 3:00 - 7:00 pm.  All Aboard . . . if you dare!

Don't forget story time at your local library.  They are sure to include great Halloween stories and activities.
